Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills for children of various ages.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and team members to share progress and address individual needs.
- Support children with special education requirements or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
- Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and field trips to ensure safety at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with educational standards and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or equivalent credential from a recognized regulatory body.
- Proven experience working with young children in early childhood settings or classrooms.
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies.
- Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, team members, and external professionals.
- Proficiency in computer operation including record keeping software and educational tools.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation efficiently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage time effectively while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $23.00-$29.14 per hour
