Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your ability to upsell menu items and handle cash transactions will contribute to the overall success of our food service operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food served.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Willingness to help team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.40-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
