What’s the job?
As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between marketing and key internal stakeholders including: Corporate Communications, HR, Enterprise Technology Solutions and our branch network, developing and delivering well-branded programs, advertising, marketing communication collateral and merchandising materials. You will work with stakeholders to develop an annual communications plan and then execute this plan throughout the year, leading strategy and planning sessions with stakeholders, gathering business requirements and converting these into concise marketing briefs; working with internal and external agencies on creative as well as internal and external partners for production and media placement. You will be responsible for developing marketing programs that support retail, commercial, corporate, and community initiatives as well as assist with the management of the Coast Capital Savings brand.
What you’ll get to do:
Represents the marketing team within projects and accurately and comprehensively translates marketing business requirements into functional requirements.
Manage branding requirements of branch design and merchandising. Ensure brand consistency and adherence at all customer touch points.
Develop creative briefs workback schedules and results reporting.
Assist with management of the brand and social marketing budget.
Assist in the management of the brand and demonstrate the company's brand internally and externally.
Brand 3rd party applications and websites while working with external partners.
Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and provide brand counsel to other business units.
Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Brand and Social Marketing team in the absence of the Senior Manager.
Manage initiatives for the brand and social marketing team. Lead/manage cross-functional teams, including external advertising and media agencies, coordinating with stakeholders while adhering to timelines and budget.
Run branded campaigns through creative development and production. Write creative briefs, staff and member communications (including copywriting).
Work with the Digital Experience Team on opportunities to improve the digital experience for our members.
Take a lead role with internal stakeholders and act as a single point of contact for individual divisions, co-developing annual marketing plans and managing the relationship.
Provide strategic brand counsel to business/divisional business leaders and executives
Responsible for the governance of vendor relationships and work with external agencies to effectively deliver projects on time and on budget.
Who are we looking for?
Minimum 4 – 6 Years of Job-Related Experience. Preference is for a minimum of 5 years marketing experience. Experience in leading cross functional project teams, marketing projects and/or teams, and/or managing direct reports is desirable.
Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs including Powerpoint
Proficient graphic design and creative production knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of advertising and branding fundamentals.
Excellent writing and editing skills
Extensive project management experience; strong project management skills
Comprehensive web analytics experience/skill
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
