We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team at a refined Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Italian cuisine, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in consistency, quality, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute Italian dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency in flavor, portion size, and plating
- Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Assist with prep work, sauces, pasta, and daily specials as needed
- Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff during service
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of line cook experience, preferably in Italian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of pasta, sauces, proteins, and basic Italian cooking techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
