About the Role
We specialize in high-end residential cabinetry, custom furniture, and commercial millwork. We are looking for a highly skilled, independent Technical Designer / Draftsperson to join us on a contract basis.
You will work closely with our principal designer to translate design concepts, architectural blueprints, and finishing schedules into flawless, production-ready shop drawings. This is a flexible, project-based hourly contract perfect for a seasoned freelancer who takes pride in precision and structural accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Engineering: Convert design concepts into detailed, production-ready shop drawings, submittal packages, and cutting lists.
- Cabinetry Production: Utilize Mozaik to engineer and output high-end residential and commercial cabinetry configurations.
- Custom & Specialty Modeling: Utilize Fusion 360 to model custom furniture, architectural millwork features, and intricate pieces that fall outside standard cabinetry software boundaries.
- Collaboration: Review project briefs and cross-reference finishing schedules alongside our designer to ensure all material specs, hardware tolerances, and joinery details are perfectly aligned before production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Software Mastery (Non-Negotiable): High proficiency in both Mozaik and Fusion 360. You must know how to build parametric models, manage assembly details, and set up files ready for production
- Industry Experience: Strong background in high-end residential cabinetry and commercial architectural millwork standards.
- Blueprint Literacy: Exceptional ability to read and interpret architectural drawing sets, sections, elevations, and finishing schedules.
- Independent & Detail-Oriented: double-check your work to ensure the shop receives error-free data.
- we will provide software licensing, if you provide your own we can negotiate wage based off licensing costs
- Please be proficient in English and be able to translate complicated details

Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
