The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with the Data Integrity & Regulatory Compliance Coordinator on day to day activities. The clerk will ensure all personal information is handled confidentially, all data is entered accurately into the database and filed appropriately in support of our regulatory process. Some of the basic administrative duties that will be performed include filing, scanning, copying, printing and sorting of documents. In addition, there is a strong focus on computer skills with the requirement to read, review, extract and enter specific information into the applicable field in the database.


Accountable for Consultation Database entries, quality control of data entered in database, data verification, and preparation of data and records in preparation for Facility Applications.
Handle all files and data in accordance with both AltaLink and applicable Government guidelines and regulations.
Enter accurate and reliable data in accordance with the company standards, guidelines and policies.
Create, review and validate data reports for accuracy and completeness.
Perform advanced searches of the consultation database, Sharepoint and AltaLink internal common folders.
Produce and validate standard and adhoc reports upon request.
Gather information and retrieval of archived documents from various databases, common folders and offsite storage as required.
Access, update and upload files and forms to SharePoint as required.
General administrative duties including but not limited to: filing, photocopying, scanning, printing, sorting paperwork, distribution of various materials, handling and tracking of inbound and outbound mail.


High School Diploma.
Six months to one year of data entry/clerical/administrative experience with strong computer skills, particularly MS Office.
Experience working within customer or land based databases would be a strong asset.
Familiarity with Land Administration, Land Titles and court related terminology would be an asset.
Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and precision, with the ability to type accurately at a reasonable rate of speed.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proper English usage, grammar, vocabulary and spelling.
Ability to work as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced team environment, working in a shared workspace.
Ability to work under pressure when facing deadlines.
