Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- Experience with serving guests in a professional manner is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food industry operations
- A passion for delivering quality dishes and maintaining high standards of food safety
