Role:
The Manager of the Reunification Home Program has a versatile role in all aspects of FFS.
In this role you will assume responsibility for overseeing the Reunification Home Program which deliver services to children, youth, and families. As a Manager you will provide leadership and guidance to the Supervisor Team, as well as the FEW (Family Enrichment Workers) by offering support, direction, and effective performance management. You will work with the Service Teams of partners as well as with Children’s Services and other Community Agencies with Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
· Create a safe and positive environment where children are safe and can connect with staff
· Support families to engage in their planning and model positive strategies, including helping families with emotional regulation, and based on care recipient developmental level age-appropriate skill development
· Provide transportation (as needed) for families to and from placements so they may consistently attend meetings, therapy, family time, medical appointments, and outings
· Document observations of children, youth and families as per service team Healing Plans etc.
· Ensure collaborative working relationships with other FFS Programs for additional service to clients.
· Supervise the daily operations of FFS Programs
· Provide leadership and oversee a number of staff including Reunification Home Supervisors/Reunification Home Workers
· Develop and maintain a good working relationship with our person’s served, staff, and representatives of other agencies and organizations
· Provide leadership, advice, and assistance to all program areas of FFS
· Focused on continually improving the Reunification Home experience
· Assist Supervisor with organizing training as requested Analyse outcome measures
· Maintain professional growth and development by participating in approved conferences and training opportunities when relevant to job duties.

· Quarterly Front-Line Employee meetings
· Regular Supervisions of Employees
· Report to the Director
Collaboration:
· Work in collaboration with the CSD Service Team and make recommendations based on observations and time spent with the children and youth
· Work in collaboration with Child and Family Services employees
· Bridging the gaps in program service areas of community agencies and stakeholders
· Attend meeting as directed by the Manager
Administrative:
· Completed performance reviews and corrective action plans (PIP)
· Participate in selection, interview, hiring, and orientation process of new employee
· Facilitate the continuous improvement FFS policies and procedures.
· Support program areas in the development of policy and practice as new initiatives and tools are introduced.
· Analyze all potential changes, innovations, initiatives, and projects that may impact FFS
· Monitor and approve staff time, time-off, travel and reimbursement request
· Monitor all data entry for past client files
· Carry out administrative and reporting functions in a timely manner including reports to Administration and Director
· Quality Improvement Plan review
· Maintain an up-to-date filing and case management system
· Ensure each confidential file for applicants and clients is organized and up to date
· Responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
Oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and ensure program activities stay within financial plans
Ensure all activities adhere to legal, safety, and organizational policies
On call, time sheets and schedule
Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
