Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of inventory within our distribution center.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and order pickers safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time, including inventory control
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products and materials efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas following proper warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order
Pay: $22.00 per hour
