Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant

Research Psychologists Press, Inc (RPP, or SIGMA Assessment Systems internationally) is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant to help our customers get the information they need, and to assist our office manager in keeping our office running smoothly as we grow.

After training and learning our systems, the successful candidate will be given opportunities to manage projects and influence important client outcomes. There is room for advancement with this position. RPP’s current office manager started in the same job we’re hiring for right now. She now manages some of our most important projects and leads our customer support team. The successful candidate will report directly to our office manager and help with the tasks listed above and below.

To start, the successful candidate will do the following:

  • Represent the company to clients in a positive, accurate, and professional manner through phone and email communication
  • Learn our software and online testing systems, to support clients and take orders
  • Proofread/edit files and content, update formatting in Word and PowerPoint
  • Print/scan files as required
  • Manage and track internal projects
  • Book and reserve things like flights, trains, hotels, and catering
  • Package and ship orders
  • Proofread/edit files and content, update formatting in Word and PowerPoint

Roles and responsibilities that may be added

  • Prepare client materials
  • Client relationship management
  • Post web content / SEO management
  • Assist with restructuring of web pages
  • Assist with the managing of group projects
  • Assist with project planning


  • University/College diploma. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology considered an asset.
  • 2 years-experience in administrative role


  • Superb organizational skills with strong emphasis on attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an outstanding approach to customer service
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic and passion to learn
  • Ability to take the initiative, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team
  • Self-discipline to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner

Hours: 9-5

Compensation: $18-20/hour depending on experience
