Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and manual
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to proper food handling protocols
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean work environment by following sanitation guidelines and restaurant policies
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and processing payments accurately
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales potential
- Must have valid Serve it Right
- Must have minimum 2 years of serving experience in a fully licensed dining establishment
Pay: $18.25-$18.40 per hour
