1. Assist engineers in development of new products

2. Work closely with developers in the early stages of the product design to

specify test requirements

3. Align and test hybrid assemblies

4. Provide feedback to process and design engineers on product and process


5. Work on improving test techniques and provide data to designers and process


6. Align, troubleshoot and test hybrid microwave products; pass on to production

7. Interface with the R & D and Production Departments regarding test issues and

system development

8. Performs wiring using logic and schematic drawings

9. Making prototype versions of newly designed equipment

10. Assist in design work using computer- aided design (CAD) equipment

11. Ensures clean operations protocols is maintained


Completion of College Program in Electronics


1. Working knowledge of analog and digital circuits and test equipment (Oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, vector/ scalar network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)

Skills / Requirements:

1. Problem solving, decision making, planning and organization skills

2. Knowledge of calibration techniques

3. Must be able to read, understand and troubleshoot complex electrical circuitry

4. Ability to follow assembly drawings.

Must be able to obtain a Canadian Controlled Goods clearance.
