Intent of the process

A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within all federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) with various tenures and various languages requirement and/or profiles, which may vary according to the position to be staffed as follows:

EDUCATION

ED1: You must have graduated with a *degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, business administration, commerce or economics, finance or some other specialty relevant to the position.

  • Degree: Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., Master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE / AS-05

EX1: You must have experience participating in the conduct of audits or reviews.

EX2: You must have experience preparing portions of the audit or review report.

EXPERIENCE / AS-06

EX1: You must have experience leading the conduct of an audit or component of an audit or review.

EX2: You must have experience preparing the audit or review report.

EX3: You must have experience presenting audit or review findings to *management.

  • Management is defined as director level and above.
EXPERIENCE / AS-07

EX1: You must have experience managing audits.

EX2: You must have experience presenting audit or review findings to *senior management.

  • Senior management is defined as Director General level (EX-03) and above, or senior executives in private or public sector organizations external to the Federal Public Service of Canada.
EX3: You must have experience providing coaching or mentoring to subordinates.

PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION

EXPERIENCE

AEX1: If you have experience in using data analytic programs such as IDEA, ACL and Excel.
