Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated HVAC Helper / Install Assistant to support our team in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Duties
- Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, units, and related components
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment
- Help with plumbing connections and ensure proper system flow
- Use basic welding techniques when necessary for system assembly or repairs
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to aid installation and maintenance tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units and related mechanical systems
- Assist with appliance repair and mechanical troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during projects
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in welding, boiler systems, or mechanical maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or experience as a mechanic is advantageous
- Familiarity with construction sites or building maintenance is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
