Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or 3 Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in our out of school program. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning educational activities, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Your energy and caregiving skills will help foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive, learn, and feel loved. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside school aged children as a positive role model while making meaningful connections and differences in children’s lives. This position is 3 hours per day Monday- Friday and 7.5 hours on PD and non-operational days with the option to work at our main center as a relief worker to cover holidays or staff illness.
Duties
- Supervise children during playtime and educational activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities that promote development, creativity, and social skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by regularly cleaning toys, play areas, and other shared spaces.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s progress, needs, and any concerns that arise.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity is required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cleaning routines related to childcare environments to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with child development principles and age-specific activity planning is beneficial.

Pay: $18.87-$22.92 per hour
