Job Purpose:
- Loading of truck, and delivery of completed materials to various job sites on Vancouver Island.
- Safe Operation of our 5 Ton delivery Truck.
- Taking care of product to ensure no damage to product or surroundings during transportation.
- Track shipments of finished products to ensure all parts are accounted for.
- Ensure all product is organized, and ready for delivery to job site.
- Operate company vehicles within the rules and regulations of B.C.
- Duties as assigned by management.
Skills Required:
- Reliable, dependable, physically fit and self-motivated
- Ability to comfortably lift over 50 lbs. All day long.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Safe operation of 5-ton truck
- Experience with safe loading, protecting of products and securement of the load.
- Forklift experience, with a valid ticket is additional asset.
- Professional, effective, written and verbal communication ability
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Cell phone with email and picture sending capabilities
- High School Diploma
- BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- Hours Mon-Thurs 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Fridays 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
