Commercial HVAC / Gas Technician (G1 or G2)

PL Energy Services is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC / Gas Technician (G1 or G2) to join our team.
We are not looking for someone who knows everything. We are looking for someone with solid commercial experience who can troubleshoot equipment, work safely, communicate well with customers, and take pride in doing the job right.

What You'll Be Working On
Our work includes commercial service, preventative maintenance, equipment replacements, and new installations on:
- Rooftop Units (RTUs)
- Boilers
- Make-Up Air Units (MAUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Unit Heaters
- Gas-fired equipment
- Heat pump systems
- Commercial HVAC controls
Every day is different. Some days you'll be troubleshooting a rooftop unit. Other days you'll be installing a new boiler or replacing a complete rooftop system.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Valid Ontario G1 or G2 Gas Technician Licence
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC experience
- Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of the Ontario Gas Code
- Experience servicing commercial gas-fired equipment
- Experience installing RTUs, boilers, MAUs or similar commercial equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation drawings
- Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean record
