We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods, ensuring that items are moved safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while handling heavy lifting and operating vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate moving activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during the moving process.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, including inventory management.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring physical readiness for demanding workloads.
- Utilize forklifts or other equipment as needed for efficient movement of goods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
