About Local Lane by AGM
Local Lane by AGM is a growing community market dedicated to supporting local businesses, makers, and entrepreneurs while creating welcoming events that bring people together. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about community building and wants to help us grow Local Lane by AGM into one of Winnipeg’s leading community market brands.
Responsibilities
- Research and secure venues for future Local Lane by AGM markets and events.
- Build relationships with community centres, shopping centres, local businesses, and organizations.
- Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
- Assist with planning and coordinating upcoming events.
- Maintain communication with venues, partners, and sponsors.
- Help expand Local Lane by AGM’s presence throughout Winnipeg and surrounding communities.
- Keep organized records of outreach, bookings, and follow-ups.
- Represent Local Lane by AGM professionally and positively within the community.
Qualifications
- Based in Winnipeg or the surrounding area.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, sales, community engagement, or business development is an asset.
- Passionate about supporting local businesses and creating meaningful community experiences.
Position Details
- Independent contractor position.
- Part-time with flexible hours.
- Hybrid role with occasional in-person meetings and venue visits.
