Worley is currently seeking an Electrical Workface Planner for the BHP Project in Jansen Saskatchewan.
Work Conditions:
- Position will be site based. Typically 11 hour shift on site will be 14 days on and 7 days off.
- Camp accommodations provided on site
- Travel allowance provided for work in Saskatchewan.
Requirements:
- Experience working with various software and 3D modeling programs such as SmartPlant 3D, Navisworks, Aconex, Hexagon etc.
- MS Office (Excel and Word) knowledge is required
- On-site field experience in either the Electrical or Instrumentation trade
- Working knowledge of industrial construction execution
- Must demonstrate an excellent safety-oriented mindset, ability to work independently, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Must be comfortable and capable of effective communicating with on-site construction personnel
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to leadership in the following key areas: scheduling, workface planning, coordinating, and ensuring the HSE. Support with material forecasting, purchasing and management.
- Communicate the job to and with the Foremen on a daily basis. Provide written updates as required
- Recognize, address, and resolve issues/problems within the drawings, 3D models, standards, details and specifications
- Identify, create and/or verify that the field installation work package which include all tools and materials required by the crew are available at the work location and complete. Identify and address any backorders or OSD's
- Identify needs, deficiencies, and changes in plan/schedule. Assess impacts and communicate these to the appropriate persons.
- Review inspection reports and coordinate resolutions to deficiencies
- Report on crew production, work progress, and change
- Create material take-offs based on IFC drawings, details, and specifications.
