We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with meal presentation and garnishing to ensure visual appeal
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper food handling and storage
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring inventory levels are maintained
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience serving guests or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential
