Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing in accordance with medical guidelines and safety protocols
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for pharmacy supplies
- Provide compassionate patient care by answering questions about medications and guiding patients on proper usage
- Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and update patient records securely
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring adherence to legal and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and patient satisfaction
- Conduct routine quality checks and assist in maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is advantageous
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations
- Excellent patient care skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or training in pharmacy assistance or technician roles are a plus
