Our leadership team comprises globally recognized concussion researchers and healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists. We are on the cutting-edge of concussion research by leading the TRANSCENDENT study. This study is establishing one of the largest concussion datasets in the world and is incorporating cutting-edge assessments including physiological evaluations, fluid biomarkers and advanced neuroimaging to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and management of concussion from all causes, across the entire patient spectrum.
We established the first 360 Concussion Care clinic in September 2020 in Ottawa, and we expanded to clinic sites in Toronto in spring 2021 and Mississauga in October 2022.
About the role:
We are actively seeking a proficient and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team of concussion specialists. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse patient base navigating various concussion and post-concussion symptoms (PCS).
Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with medical professionals and an integrated rehabilitation team to support patients' progress through their recovery journey.
This position starts will be an independent contractor role for 3 days a week with the potential for full-time hours.
Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and mentorship from our esteemed team of concussion researchers and healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists. Beyond clinical practice, you'll actively participate in research endeavors.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in pursuing and delivering Occupational Therapy to clients impacted by concussions (children and/or adults)
- Familiarity with concussion resources and educational materials is advantageous.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be active independent practice members of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and must be in good standing.

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
