Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring all food service standards are met with professionalism and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with breakfast service in a courteous manner
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established protocols and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Replenish food stations and ensure all items are stocked and presented attractively
- Handle food safely following proper food handling procedures
- Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast buffet or serving stations
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests with professionalism
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques including Food Handler Certificate
- Experience with food preparation or barista skills is a plus
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays is a must
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Pay: $16.95-$17.50 per hour
