As a Business and Fiscal Planning Lead, you will work closely with program areas, finance partners, and central agencies. Your work will directly support government priorities and decision-making.
You will:
- lead the development of ministry business and fiscal plans, including Treasury Board submissions
- provide strategic advice to senior executives on financial planning and government fiscal strategies
- analyze financial performance and identify options to meet program goals within budget
- guide program areas on planning, forecasting, risk management, and reporting
- build relationships with partners across ministries and central agencies
- lead projects and coordinate teams to deliver planning and reporting activities

- explain complex financial information clearly to a variety of audiences
- prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for senior leaders
- build strong working relationships with partners across government
- use consultation, negotiation, and influencing skills to achieve business objectives
You have experience:
- using spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools to analyze and share information
- using financial systems and data sources to support research, planning, and reporting
- working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
