Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Principal to lead our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily school operations, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic success and well-being of students. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire staff and students alike. The School Principal will serve as the key figure in implementing school policies, managing staff, and maintaining community relationships to promote a thriving educational atmosphere.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a valid Professional A Certificate and be currently registered with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB).
Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to staff, students, and the wider school community to promote academic excellence and positive school culture.
- Develop, implement, and oversee school policies, curriculum standards, and instructional programs aligned with educational regulations.
- Manage school budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to support educational goals.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and support teaching staff and administrative personnel to foster professional growth.
- Monitor student progress and implement interventions to improve academic achievement across all grade levels.
- Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, students, and district officials to ensure transparency and collaborative decision-making.
- Organize professional development opportunities for staff to stay current with educational best practices.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal education laws and safety regulations.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment conducive to student success.
- Represent the school at community events and build partnerships with local organizations to enhance educational programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in educational leadership or administration, preferably as a teacher or assistant principal.
- Strong background in teaching with a comprehensive understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid administrative or principal certification/license as required by state regulations.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diversity and equity in education.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
