Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive lawncare employee to join our crew. This role requires a strong work ethic and motivation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance tasks, running a lawn mower and/or weed eater, and maintaining high standards of landscape care and safety.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow in the business and could move into leadership position with good initiative and motivation. Snow removal work is a possibility through winter as well.
Duties
- Ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
- Conduct property inspections to make sure our high standard of mowing is being met.
- Operate lawn mowing equipment, including mowers, weed wackers and leaf blowers
- Drive a pick-up truck along routes with a trailer loaded with equipment safely.
- Take care to ensure our level of professionalism on each clients property is being met in work ethic, language and attitude.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Minimum G-class license - D License is a benefit
- Experience with driving pick-up trucks with a trailer (ability to back a trailer effectively)
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn mowing, gardening, or related fields.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments under various weather conditions through out the year.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (required)
