CNC Programmer Job Description
Job Summary
Regal Custom Woodworking is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating 3-axis CNC machines, with a focus on woodworking applications. This role involves programming CNC machines 60% of the time and operating them 40% of the time. The Candidate must know how to use Mozaik Software.
Duties
- Program 3-axis CNC machine using MOZAIK software.
- Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality wood components for custom millwork projects.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for CNC operations.
- Operate CNC machinery, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
- Ensure all work meets Regal's high-quality standards and production deadlines.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of production processes, including any modifications made during machining.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a woodworking shop.
- Proficient in MOZAIK software and 3-axis CNC machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of CNC tools and woodworking operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
