Job Summary
Delpaggio Overhead Doors is a locally owned garage door installation and service company serving Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area. As an authorized GARAGA dealer, we take pride in quality workmanship, reliable service, and treating our customers and team right.
We're hiring an Operations Manager to support and oversee our daily office, field, and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role for a motivated, organized person who can keep jobs moving, coordinate the team, and be the reliable point of contact that keeps everything running.Training in both the field and admin side of the role will be provided.
Office & administrative
- Manage daily office operations, paperwork, and customer communication
- Act as the main point of contact for technicians, support the crew and keep field work flowing
- Coordinate the schedule and dispatch jobs across the team
- Quote residential and commercial projects and assist with estimating and sales support
- Handle service requests, take in, schedule, and resolve customer service calls
- Learn and use company software, quoting programs, and back-end systems
- Build and maintain client relationships and help develop new opportunities
Field support
- Oversee daily jobs and keep installation and service work on track
- Conduct site checks, job measurements, and pre-install inspections as needed
- Complete on-site check-ins with crews to ensure quality and efficiency
- Assist in supervising field crews and job sites when required
- Capture photos and videos of jobs and help manage social media content
Shop & warehouse
- Manage inventory throughout the day - receiving, counts, and inventory control
- Pull and prepare parts on a job-to-job basis
- Deliver parts to job sites as needed
- Keep the shop and warehouse clean, safe, tidy, and organized
- Maintain and improve showroom presentation
Leadership & operations support
- Support daily workflow across office, shop, and field
- Help supervise employees and provide leadership when required
- Help improve company systems, processes, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling scheduling, inventory, and people
- Clear communicator who can lead a team and talk to customers with confidence
- Practical problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
- Solid computer skills; willing to learn our scheduling, quoting, and back-end software
- Valid Ontario driver's license
- Comfortable moving between the office, warehouse, and field throughout the day
