Nedlaw Roofing Limited is looking for a Flat Roofing Project Co-Ordinator to join our team!

Reporting to the Project Manager the candidate will support the needs of the planning, organizing and coordinating construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and in budget.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies/issues
- Provide weekly updates on job/quote/roofcheck progress to General Manager
- Attend site meeting when needed - pickup/delivery of products to sites
- Supporting project manager from start to finish
- Preparation of documents for submission to City/Region/GC
- Prepare work plans and make revisions when needs arise
- Perform a key role in project planning and implementing process
- Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
- Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.
- Liaises with contractors/vendors to obtain estimations, pricing, product specifications, warranties, and other correspondence
- Updates trade lists
- Tracks overall project schedule and assists in ensuring projects are completed on time
- Ensure project documents are complete.
What we are looking for:
- Reliable, organized and motivated
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Comfortable dealing with vendors, clients, consultants, and project managers
- Follow up and record correspondence on all quotes within 7 days
- Keep track of all quotations and job files from start to finish
- Log all request for quotations
- Recent experience within a coordinator/assistant role preferably in the construction industry
- Valid Driver's License and own vehicle CLEAN DRIVERS ABSTRACT
- Good working knowledge of general software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Jonas Construction Software would be an asset
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced and demanding environment
- Knowledge of construction industry
- Confident and personable
- Ability to provide simultaneous support for needs across multiple projects in various phases
- Able to instigate action for sub-trades, vendors, and suppliers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Can confidently and accurately communicate the task at hand
- Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends when required
