TwinCon Enterprises Ltd. TwinCon Enterprises Ltd. is a leading civil construction company specializing in civil earthworks, excavation, rock breaking, drilling and blasting, underground utilities, road construction, and municipal infrastructure.
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Superintendent to join our team and lead civil construction projects at various locations.
This is a project-based, field position requiring travel and extended stays at project locations. Relocation is not required; however, candidates located in the Okanagan may find their location advantageous depending on project assignments.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced construction leader who can take ownership of project site operations and effectively lead crews, subcontractors, equipment, and day-to-day construction activities.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in municipal civil construction and MMCD, along with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) projects.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Civil Superintendent, Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Senior General Foreman.
- Extensive MOTT project experience is required.
- Strong knowledge and experience with municipal civil construction and MMCD.
- Experience with earthworks, underground utilities, road construction, grading, drainage, and related civil infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead crews, subcontractors, equipment, and multiple site activities.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, production, quality, and project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a field environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work at project locations as required, including remote locations.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and acceptable driver's abstract.
