Essential Responsibilities
Safely operate 40T rock trucks in accordance with project requirements and Ledcor safety standards
Haul soil , gravel and other materials throughout the project site
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Report mechanical issues and unsafe conditions promptly
Follow haul road rules, site traffic plans, and radio communication protocols
Work closely with supervisors, excavator operators, dozer operators, and grade crews
Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience operating articulated trucks in a construction, mining or earthworks environment
Strong understanding of safe hauling, loading, dumping, and traffic management practices
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Must be available for day / night shifts
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
CSTS 09, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)
Work Conditions
14 days on and 7 days off, working 12 hours per day
