Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure proper assembly and repairs.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, heavy lifting tasks, and routine maintenance procedures to uphold safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and service recommendations to enhance customer service experience.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or automotive technician.
- Skilled in welding, schematics interpretation, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required for vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive repair across multiple systems including engine diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid mechanic license or certification is highly desirable; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards.
