Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic components, circuitry, and hardware systems, applying established engineering principles to develop reliable solutions, perform testing and analysis, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet performance, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
Location: Stratford, ON
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Your Challenge:
Contribute to the design and development of electronic parts, components, and integrated circuitry by determining design approaches, parameters, and technical requirements (35%).
Perform analyses, modeling, and experimental testing to establish operating data and evaluate system behavior, performance, and reliability (25%).
Select electronic components, equipment, and materials based on specification analysis, technical requirements, and reliability criteria (20%).
Review and assess vendor capabilities to determine suitability for supporting product development and component sourcing (10%).
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support design decisions, resolve technical issues, and contribute to overall product readiness (10%).
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
4–6+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering roles
Experience designing and evaluating electronic components, circuitry, and hardware systems
Proficiency with electrical design tools, simulation software, and test equipment
Strong analytical skills for conducting experiments, evaluations, and data-driven decisions
Knowledge of component selection, reliability principles, and supplier evaluation
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation
Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment
Commitment to continuous improvement, technical growth, and collaborative problem solving
