We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in the search for a Tooling Project Lead to coordinate and oversee tooling and equipment-related projects in a multidisciplinary industrial environment.

Interpret, understand, and comply with technical drawings and specifications.

Work closely with all company departments and act as the main coordinator to ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards applicable to equipment.

Manage subcontracted engineering services, including planning, coordination, and scheduling.

Develop and monitor the overall project schedule while managing unforeseen issues and constraints to ensure key deadlines are met.

Monitor and manage project budgets.

Lead cross-functional meetings and ensure the engagement of all stakeholders.

Identify and implement solutions to issues encountered throughout the project.

Prepare and present project progress reports to the management committee.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout development projects.

Ensure the quality of technical documentation used for requests for proposals, including specifications, work standards, and appendices.

Provide methodological support and guidance to project managers throughout the subcontracting process.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or an equivalent field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar position. Any relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.

Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Recognized for reliability, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment and motivated by change.
