Job Summary
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver looking to build a career in systems integration? We are looking for a Junior AV Design Engineer to assist in the conceptualization and technical design of audiovisual environments. This is a "growth role" where you will learn to turn a vision into a fully functional BOM (Bill of Materials) and functional system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lead engineers in selecting hardware (displays, processors, speakers) that meets project requirements.
- Utilize D-Tools/Visio to finalize bill of materials, create functional signal flow diagrams and rack layouts
- Utilize AutoCAD to create and update AV infrastructure drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans and wall elevations.
- Maintain accurate product databases and pricing within design software.
- Assist in technical site surveys to verify field conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience with D-Tools SI, MS Visio, and AutoCAD is an asset.
- A foundational understanding of signal types (HDMI, SDI, Dante, NDI, Control).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple small-to-mid-sized projects.
Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
