Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Residential Building Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the building’s common areas. This role requires someone with prior cleaning experience who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and take pride in ensuring the building is always kept to the highest standard.

- Monday - Friday 4pm - 8pm OR 5pm - 9pm

Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all common areas of the residential building, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, amenity spaces, and shared washrooms.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- Handle garbage, recycling, and compost disposal in accordance with building policies.
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning of designated areas (e.g., floors, windows, carpets).
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to building management.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and health & safety guidelines.
- Maintain proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is required (residential or commercial).
- Ability to work independently, be self-sufficient, and complete tasks without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a high standard of service for residents.
