alley Ford is looking for a dependable, motivated Parts Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team in Kentville, Nova Scotia.
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines customer service, parts counter support, shipping and receiving, vehicle accessory sales, tire storage, and parts delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, comfortable working independently, and willing to pitch in wherever needed to keep our Parts Department and dealership running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to retail customers at the front counter
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers with parts and accessory inquiries
- Handle parts and supply requests from the Service Department and shop, including overflow requests
- Receive incoming freight, verify shipments, and process related receiving and billing
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments and deliveries
- Complete regular parts deliveries throughout our service area, including Middleton to Newport Station
- Safely operate a Transit-style delivery van and be comfortable with longer periods of driving
- Periodically assist with Bruce Wholesale deliveries, including deliveries in the Halifax area
- Assist new and used vehicle sales staff with parts and accessory needs
- Support accessory sales and help customers and sales staff select appropriate products
- Assist with tire storage and seasonal tire changeover, including moving and organizing tires
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts/shipping area
- Move and handle heavier items when required, using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices
- Work cooperatively with Parts, Service, Sales, and other dealership departments
- Perform other duties as required to support the dealership and Parts Department
What We're Looking For

- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a delivery van and making longer-distance deliveries
- Physically capable of handling parts, tires, and other heavier items with the proper equipment
- Previous automotive, parts, retail, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person

Compensation: $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM Location: Kentville, Nova Scotia
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
