Journeyman Electrician – Oilfield & Industrial (Edmonton, AB)
Crossroad Energy Solutions is currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician for immediate work in the Edmonton Area.

The successful candidate:
- Has a safety-first mindset
- Journeyman Electrician with 5–10 years of upstream, midstream, or industrial oilfield electrical experience
- Experience with common oilfield equipment including gas and refrigeration compressors, VFD packages, MCCs, separator packages, dehydration units, and line heaters
- Experience completing oilfield electrical construction, maintenance, commissioning, and startup activities
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, VFDs, heat trace systems, switchgear, PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, and oilfield instrumentation
- Programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLCs, RTUs, SCADA, and communication systems would be considered an asset
- Able to locate and navigate to oilfield locations using UWI and LSD coordinates throughout Western Canada
- Perform maintenance, construction, commissioning, and startup field work throughout the Edmonton region
- Coordinate daily site activities with customers while maintaining a safe, productive work environment
- Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices
- Read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and execution plans
- Assist with estimating field projects
- Work closely with operations and customers to identify issues, improve equipment reliability, and provide technical solutions
- Performs well in a team environment
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
- Displays a self-motivated, strong work ethic
- Has current First Aid, H2S Alive, and Arc Flash Training. CSTS/ESTS, Fall Arrest, and Elevated Work Platform certifications are considered assets.
