Municipal Design Engineer
Civil Engineering
Our well reputed client is currently seeking to add a Civil/Municipal Engineer at their Toronto location.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate detailed drawings and designs utilizing Civil 3D
- Prepare civil related engineering reports and analyses • provide construction cost estimates, project specifications and contract documents
- Deal with engineering calculations for water, sewer, and drainage systems
- Oversee project documents and complete required technical submissions
- Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed for projects to move forward
- Deal and handle clients-facing responsibilities - contractors, project team members and stakeholders on multiple projects Qualifications:
- A degree in civil engineering or related field
- 10-15 years’ experience in municipal/land development
- Must be a registered professional engineer in good standing with APEGA
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Ability to remain professional and tackle challenging situations with ease • Ability to work alongside other disciplinary teams
- Must be able to meet deadlines with excellent prioritization skills
- Must be have a go-getter attitude/self starter
