Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a Financial Analyst (Corporate Reporting) - Contract to join their team. As a Financial Analyst you will be part of the Corporate Finance department supporting financial reporting and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Financial Analyst (Corporate Reporting) - Contract
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay Range: $35.00–$45.00/hour
Job Type: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
What's the Job?
- Prepare monthly financial statements and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support corporate financial reporting and facilitate the month-end close process.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and treasury reporting to maintain financial integrity.
- Support audit preparation and assist with the creation of consolidated financial reports and schedules.
What's Needed?
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and month-end processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage 50, Prophix, or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
