Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Acupuncturist/Reflexologist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic treatment options to promote patient wellness, utilizing acupuncture and reflexology techniques. This role involves delivering personalized care in a clinical setting, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting overall health improvement. Experience in hospital environments and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred to enhance patient care quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform acupuncture treatments tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on pain relief, stress reduction, and overall wellness.
- Administer reflexology sessions to stimulate specific points on the feet, hands, or ears to promote healing and relaxation.
- Assess patient conditions through consultations, understanding their health history and current symptoms.
- Educate patients about treatment plans, post-treatment care, and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients during therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as an acupuncturist or reflexologist required; relevant state licensing preferred.
- Previous experience working in hospital or clinical settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare teams.
