Sr. Telecom Business Analyst (3)– our client requires three Senior Telecom Business Analyst with direct experience designing complex systems with multiple integrations and knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture. These resources will support the following project areas: Business and Consumer Products and Services - delivering products and services to the business and consumer markets Transform Systems, Processes and Digital Platforms - delivering improved systems and processes that support transformational products and services Technology Transformation (5G) and Telecommunications Network Design - modernizing the client's communication network Business Process Simplification and Business Process Re-engineering Artificial Intelligent (AI) Systems and Data (API Gateways, Integration) - deploying intelligent, data driven solutions and establishing data governance policies and practices Customer Enablement & Experience - addressing customer experience pain points and improvement opportunities Systems Modernization - modernizing and sustaining the client's application infrastructure environment Other approved projects which may span multiple and technical areas and as capacity and budget permit.
Work is 100% onsite in Regina, SK.
Mandatory Requirements Include:
- Minimum of four (4) years of North American telecom experience preferred (Wireline, Wireless, Converged). (Note: Relevant experience within the last five (5) years).
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Certification, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience and/or Information Systems Professional (ISP) designation with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Any additional applicable certification(s) not listed above but are significant to the Combined Senior Business Analyst / Solution-Integration Architect role (eg: CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CSM - Certified Scrum Master, PMP - Project Management Professional, TOGAF - The Open Group Architecture Framework, etc.).
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a Combined Senior Business Analyst and Solution-Integration Architect role. (Note: Relevant experience within the last five (5) years).
- Demonstrated experience in business process re-engineering to help simplify, automate, integrate, and optimize business processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to:
- develop and/or modify systems and applications that meet business requirements.
- elicit and interpret business and technical information into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to deal effectively with (a) others, (b) ambiguity, (c) conflict resolution, and (d) diplomacy.
- Ability to analyze and identify potential short/long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations in the future.
- Experience designing complex systems with multiple integrations. Expectation that knowledge includes: enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture.
- Expert at facilitating stakeholder sessions and client interviews; and presenting materials to all levels of the organization to gain alignment of project outcomes.
- Proven ability to assist the business in clearly articulating and defining the scope of a project.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while managing project and client expectations.
Desirable Requirements Include:
- Experience in any of the following will be considered an asset: 5G, CRM, Network Planning software, Assurance, Observability, API Gateways, Work Force Management, Workflow Management, Order Orchestration, Integration, Enterprise Application management software, ERP’s, Automation, relevant within the last five (5) years.
