Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing structures, utilizing various tools and equipment to build and assemble frameworks for buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble frameworks for buildings using wood, metal, or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials and equipment.
- Install drywall, siding, and other building components as required.
- Finish concrete surfaces according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to framing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques.
- Familiarity with siding application methods.
- Skills in concrete finishing for various applications.
- Strong blueprint reading skills for accurate project execution.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not required.
- Capability to build structures according to specifications with precision.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $29.03-$35.00 per hour
