Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Analyst will assist in the recruitment of study participants; assist in the planning, review, and implementation of data collection according to UHN policy and ICH/GCP Guidelines; collect study data from participants and other sources; interact with participants to facilitate the completion of research activities in collaboration with inter-professional team members; processing and shipment of samples according to clinical research protocol; plan, design, and organize scoring procedures and computer databases; perform computer statistical analyses and generate statistical reports. Possible additional duties may include interpreting results and preparing material for presentation, publication and grants; conducting literature reviews for new proposals; and supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
- Bachelor's degree program, or recognized equivalent in a health or science related discipline; kinesiology preferred
- At minimum, 1 year clinical and/or professional experience
- Experience using statistical analysis and data management software applications
- Knowledge of clinical research principles, practices, and techniques relating to data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of research guidelines, such as ICH/GCP guidelines and IATA shipping regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft office including Excel
