Marketing – Global Content Writer

We seek a dynamic and outgoing individual to join our team to help promote Axsium and our services. This includes writing and editing marketing copy used in our whitepapers, e-books, brochures, website, blogs, case studies, press releases, and newsletters, and supporting the sales team in the development and management of proposals, sales presentations and other client-facing sales and delivery documentation. The successful candidate is comfortable meeting with and interviewing subject matter experts (such as consultants, sales people, and members of the executive team) to develop focused and insightful written content, ensuring that all work products are high quality and delivered on time.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Write and edit compelling sales and marketing copy that will be used to promote Axsium and our services across print and electronic media
Be comfortable writing in a wide range of formats – from single-sentence headlines and short emails up to medium-length blog posts and content-rich whitepapers up to 5 pages in length
Write professionally while also remaining interesting and memorable
Plan, write, edit, and coordinate Request For Proposals (RFPs) responses and questionnaires from prospective clients
Work with consultants to develop and enhance technical RFP responses and other client-facing deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations
Manage and maintain a central repository for RFP language and related proposal materials
Answer ad hoc requests and assist with special sales and marketing projects
Develop and manage client case studies for both internal and external use
At least 3-5 years of writing experience in a marketing or software-focused environment
Workforce Management (WFM) experience is a strong plus
HR, Software and/or Consulting experience is a plus as well
Excellent communications skills both oral and written; excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills required (writing samples will be requested)
Strong computer skills including mastery of Microsoft applications (Office 2007 and above) with an aptitude for learning new computer software and productivity tools
Effective research strategies and capabilities with the ability to gather information from a variety of sources and assemble together into a professional deliverable.
Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects, marshal resources, communicate and manage timelines and responsibilities and make necessary changes to ensure accurate delivery of a product, while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work, in a fast-paced environment
Experience using mainstream social media tools considered a plus
Strong interpersonal skills; you must be comfortable interfacing directly with subject matter experts
A strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Ability to work flexible hours
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar major
