SkilledReady is currently hiring Shop Technicians / General Labourers on behalf of Aquosis Fluid Solutions.
This is a hands-on position working in a busy industrial shop where you'll assist with preparing, maintaining, cleaning, testing, and organizing specialized pumping and water treatment equipment. If you enjoy physical work, staying busy, and working with tools and equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for upcoming projects
- Load and unload trucks and deliveries
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Perform general shop labour and housekeeping
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with equipment testing and basic maintenance
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Work both indoors and outdoors as required
Requirements
- Previous shop, warehouse, construction, or general labour experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Reliable transportation to work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Steel-toe safety boots required
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
