Flexible Start Date (Ideally Late August 2026)
Westside Montessori School is seeking a warm, dedicated, and reflective AMI Toddler Guide to join our Dufferin Grove campus.
Our vision is to follow the child and nurture a lifelong love of learning. We're looking for an educator who is passionate about authentic Montessori education and excited to become part of a collaborative, supportive community.
The successful candidate will ideally begin in late August 2026, with flexibility for the right person. They should also be open to spending their first 4–6 months working alongside one of our experienced Toddler Guides, learning the "Westside Way" through mentorship and collaboration.
Candidates must:
- Hold an AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori Toddler diploma
- Have a current Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Hold Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Demonstrate a deep respect for young children and authentic Montessori philosophy
- Be a confident, professional communicator
- Work collaboratively within their classroom and contribute positively to the wider school community
- Value nature, outdoor learning, and continuous professional growth
- Be reflective, flexible, and eager to learn
- Be interested in making a long-term commitment to the classroom
- Participate in reference conversations as part of the hiring process
