Construction/ General Labourer – Seasonal Opportunity
Pay: CA$24.00 – CA$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time (30–40 hours per week, overtime as required)
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Work Location: On the road – London Region, Ontario. Some travel outside the London area may be required, including:
- Kitchener–Waterloo–Barrie Region
- Hamilton–Niagara Peninsula Region
- Toronto Region
- Windsor–Sarnia Region
About the Opportunity
A well-established company specializing in residential and commercial renovation projects is seeking motivated and dependable General Labourers to join their team. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Assist with product installation
- Power wash surfaces
- Perform concrete grinding
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms and barricades at construction sites
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and epoxy resins
- Safely load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment to work areas
- Operate various hand and power tools and equipment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or a general labour role
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Availability to work occasional weekends
- Willingness to work extended shifts when required (10+ hours)
- Willingness to travel to various job sites across Southwestern Ontario
- Valid driver’s licence and the ability to drive a pickup truck and trailer is considered an asset
- Ability to communicate in English is considered an asset
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay of CA$24.00–CA$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
