Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role you will be instrumental in executing a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance services. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of diverse projects while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various hand tools and power tools efficiently for carpentry, framing, and finishing work.
- Perform tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- All aspects of renovations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Work as a team to ensure timelines and project goals are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience
- Proven experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in general construction and maintenance services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools
- Valid driver's license required.
- Valid Certificate of Conduct.
- Carpenter Red Seal Certification an asset but not required
